Where I got my bad taste in men..

Mom: "So for our first date-- and the first time I've ever been to a movie-- your father took me to see Death Wish.."

Me: "...you're kidding me, right?"

Mom: "I wish. I was horrified! I kept my eyes squeezed shut the whole time. I thought all movies were that bad."

Me: "So he takes you to see Death Wish and you not only date him again, but marry him? What's wrong with you?"

Mom: "I don't know.. I thought he was cute!"

Me: "God. The Girl is so screwed if she inherits the Date-Only-Idiots gene from us."

I've been thinking strictly in these terms lately, so it's only fitting that we all hop onto the bullet list train...

Love working in cosmetics.
Really love my commission in cosmetics.
Went to a "Strategy Class" for my cosmetics company at a chi-chi chateau and was fed wonderful food and given free products (one of which isn't in stores yet).

New Kid

Oh, yeah. The transfer. It went through Saturday, but I wasn't technically supposed to transfer until Monday. But I did anyway. Because I managed to talk the managers on duty into it. I'm that awesome.

Can I tell you how much I love it? It's less than five feet away from my old position, but it's worlds different. I'm not a tense mess, stressing about counting jewelry and keeping track of books. That's my coworkers' resposibilities now. Mwahahaha!

A Clockwork Lost

Although a bit less obsessed with Lost than in previous seasons, last Wednesday's episode A Clockwork Orange scene creeped me out and reeled me back in. And that was when I saw it playing forward.

Then I go over to Best Week Ever and see-- dear god, why?-- some evil geniuses at PopCandy thought to play the whole scene backwards. This is where things get really weird and creepy and totally cool. See for yourself..
